Competency-Based Curriculum
Junior High
Our Junior High program provides a dynamic and supportive environment for students in grades 7 to 9 as they navigate an exciting phase of their educational journey under the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC). Our focus is on developing critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills, while also fostering creativity and personal growth. Through engaging lessons, hands-on projects, and collaborative learning experiences, we encourage exploration and a passion for knowledge.
Our dedicated teachers strive to create a safe and encouraging space where each student can thrive, building confidence and resilience as they prepare for the next stage of their academic life.
Junior Primary
At Garden Estate Academy, our Junior Primary program covers Grade 1 to Grade 6, following the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC). This stage focuses on enhancing foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking, while also introducing students to a broader range of subjects, including languages, mathematics, science, social studies, and the arts.
Through a balanced approach of academic learning and hands-on activities, we encourage curiosity and creativity, helping students develop problem-solving skills and a lifelong love for learning. In addition to academics, we emphasize personal growth, teamwork, and instilling strong values that prepare students for the challenges of Junior High.
